“An active body is a healthy one. I believe in a partnership between Patient and Physician that combines a balanced, active lifestyle with thoughtful medical intervention. The goal is to improve health,
strength, and longevity throughout the life span.”

“My draw toward working with seniors is personal, and when I’m around older patients, I just feel at ease. I’m passionate about giving seniors the care they need, and being around them puts me in a comfort zone that’s full of joy and clarity.”
Raised by his grandparents, Scott Dorn became interested in senior care early in his life. Attending appointments with his family sparked his curiosity in their health and inspired him to pursue senior health care as an adult. “I always want to treat patients as well as I’d treat my own family. In this way, they become a part of my extended family,” he says.
Scott received his BA from the University of Rhode Island and also holds a Masters of Science in traditional Chinese medicine as well as a Masters of Medical Science. Scott has lived in the Denver area since 2006, and he worked a rotation in geriatrics with IPC before coming to work as a certified physician assistant for IPC/SCOC in 2015.
“I view my experience in Chinese medicine and acupuncture as complementary to my current work,” he says. “It helped me understand conditions that commonly affect seniors, including stress, fatigue, inflammation, and arthritis.”
When he’s not meeting with patients, Scott enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with his wife, two children, and grandfather, who continues to inspire his medical practice.

Matt graduated with his Bachelors from Pacific Lutheran University in 1999, and his
PA-C in 2008 from Red Rocks Community College. In his working life, his heart has
always led him to careers revolving around helping others, and being hands on in his
community. Molding and teaching grade school children was his first love and career.
Matt feels that his students taught him patience while leading him on to his current
passion of medicine. With a gift for problem solving and compassion for others,
medicine has become a natural fit. For over a decade he has worked with thousands of
patients as a Physician’s Assistant in the fields of Internal Medicine and Neurology and
now Family Practice. Not only does he have vast experience and knowledge in
managing unique medical conditions, he is passionate about assisting his patients by
closely monitoring their treatment plan. When he’s not meeting with patients, Matt
enjoys skiing in the Rocky Mountains and playing recreational hockey.
Erik Miller PA-C is from a small community in the four corners area. Coming from a family of healthcare workers, his curiosity of medicine started at a young age. His passion grew after witnessing the positive change his own family provider gave to others. Specifically, Erik was drawn to family medicine to forge continued bonds with his patients and give the best individual care to each. The forefront of Erik’s philosophy is treating the overall health of a person and not just their illness. Erik received his Bachelor of Science from the University of New Mexico and shortly after attended the University of St. Francis where he completed his master’s in physician assistant studies. Prior to becoming a certified PA, Erik gained healthcare experience in primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine. When he’s not meeting with patients, Erik enjoys skiing, watching sports, traveling, and exploring new food options in the Denver.

I wish I could tell every patient that a focus on health and preventative care should be an essential part of their everyday life. Through prevention and early diagnosis, you can improve your quality of life as well as your longevity.”
Neila loves the outdoors. She is an avid fan of hiking, kayaking and biking. She is originally from Ohio, but recently relocated from Tennessee to Colorado.
